The Beginnings: A Creative Outlet During COVID-19
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Suzy, like many of us, found herself seeking a productive outlet to navigate the new normal. With her hands full caring for two young daughters, three-year-old Nada and one-year-old Isabelle, Suzy decided to embark on a creative journey. She taught herself to sew, starting with little dresses for her girls, perfect for special occasions like Easter and Christmas.
From Dresses to Chouchous
The joy of creating these beautiful dresses sparked a new idea. Suzy wanted to add a personal touch to her own accessories. This is how she began making her own scrunchies, or as the French charmingly call them, "chouchous." Each piece was a labour of love, crafted carefully by hand in the warmth of her own home.

Silks from Japan as well as fabrics from Lisbon, Paris, and the US. The desire to share these handmade treasures with others led to the creation of Bouclé & Co.
